Edging closer to greyness
Shades of Grey (and other short stories) is well on it's way. I have 4 finished songs and I want to have 6 on the EP I think, maybe 7, but it's getting there at least. This might sound pretentious and arty, but I need to find a direction for the EP, a common theme which links all the songs. I think that's what I enjoyed about the first EP, the songs sort of followed on from each other, and I want to do that again. I think I need to get some ambient noise from somewhere!

Well, I have some time off now so I've been eXp-ing. I now have 3 tracks ready for the new ep, which I'm very pleased with. I'm hoping I'll get it done by Easter.
One down, one to go
So, having concentrated on my "Phil Cooper" solo album, which is now finished, it's time to turn my attentions fully to the next eXp EP. With 2 songs finished, and a few more on their way it shouldn't be long, but I don't intend to rush it. I will just let it evolve until it is ready to be unleashed, which is exactly what I did with the first EP.There will also be a piece on the EP which is co-written with Gazmataz the Original Superhero. Who also features in some of the samples. I might go out recording some samples this evening actually! Indeed/Outdeed
Song number two on the new EP is finished - YAY! It's called Indeed/Outdeed, although that has very little to do with the song itself, I just couldn't think of a title, so this is it.Other songs are also on their way, so the "Shades of Grey (and other short stories)" EP edges just that little bit closer to being released. Enforced eXp-ing
Well, on Saturday, I was a rather silly chap, and decided to make my middle finger and my stanley knife have a fight. Suffice to say, I can't play guitar for a while, boo. But that means all my musical inspiration at the moment will go in to creating synthesised eXp wonderness, yay.
